More detail: our sheet vs value counter price guide, supermarket setups, bank branch setups and the best counter for Saudi riyals.

Where the big price jumps are, and whether to pay them

  • SAR 920 to 4,600 (sheet to value): worth it as soon as you count mixed tills every day. A value counter totals a whole drawer in one pass.
  • SAR 4,600 to 6,670 (value to 1+1): worth it at busy counters. The reject pocket means the machine never stops for a suspect or foreign note.
  • SAR 6,670 to 9,200 (1+1 to fitness): worth it if you deposit cash or refill ATMs. Fitness sorting removes worn and taped notes before the bank rejects them.
  • SAR 9,200 to 37,950 (desktop to bank sorter): only for branches, back offices and CIT companies that sort into several denominations at once.

Every machine handles the Saudi riyal

All machines ship configured for the Saudi riyal. Before buying a value counter, confirm it reads the polymer 5-riyal note (October 2020) and the 200-riyal note (2021), which SAMA added to the sixth issue. Our riyal guide explains what to check.

Payment, delivery and warranty

  • All prices include 15% VAT, with a VAT invoice in your business name.
  • Free door-to-door delivery across Saudi Arabia on orders over SAR 1,000.
  • Pay with mada, Apple Pay, Visa or Mastercard, or in instalments with Tamara (subject to Tamara approval).
  • Kisan models carry a 2-year warranty, with support in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al Khobar, Makkah and Madinah.
