BURGLARY RESISTANCE: EUROPEAN STANDARDS AND SECURITY GRADES

Safes and vaults receive a specific Grade that certifies their level of burglary resistance. This grading system is critically important because the contents inside a safe will only be insured for their full value if the safe possesses the appropriate security grade. Since insurance ratings can vary between different countries, it is essential to verify the specific insurance details with your local representative.

FIRE RESISTANCE

Finloyd solutions undergo rigorous compression testing, and their fire-resistant products are subjected to thermal resistance tests under extreme temperatures that replicate the intensity of an actual fire. For fire protection, the applicable standards differ significantly based on whether the objective is to safeguard paper documents, digital media, or other highly sensitive materials. This distinction is critical because the maximum temperature thresholds at which data media (e.g., 50°C) and paper documents (e.g., 170°C) become damaged vary according to the specific items being protected. All fire-resistant products are officially certified in compliance with the standards detailed in the following table.
